The National Center for Victims of Crime mourns the passing of our friend and supporter Joan Rivers. Rivers served on the board of directors of the organization from 1992-1996. She was an outspoken advocate committed to crime victims’ issues. Ms. Rivers will be remembered for her dedicated years of service to the National Center and for inspiring so many to stand-up for their rights and be true to themselves.

There is very little Stalker get's right about stalking. This show only makes our work more difficult by framing stalking as entertainment. In glorifying and normalizing a serious crime, the program demonstrates extremely poor judgment disrespecting the 7.5 million individuals who are victims of stalking each year in the U.S.
