DC Victim Hotline
The DC Victim Hotline (DCVH) is a 24-Hour phone, chat, and text-based resource and crisis line for all victims of crime in the District of Columbia.
The hotline provides strength-based and trauma-informed services and referrals. Our Victim Assistance Specialists provide emotional support and empowers visitors as they navigate the physical, emotional, legal, and financial consequences of crime. Additionally, we serve as the central access point for many 24/7 victim services in the District of Columbia.
The National Center for Victims of Crime has operated this program since 2015 thanks to the funding provided by the Office of Victim Services and Justice Grants, Executive Office of the Mayor, District of Columbia.
